We operate out of the sixth floor at Mather Square. It’s a busy building and we’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of our work involves managing the flow of spices and seasonings that go out to shops. It’s not just office work; there’s a lot of coordination with the production side. The elevators can be slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to their floor. We have desks piled with papers and samples of different products. It smells like coriander or chili sometimes if someone opens a bag. We don't really do the fancy corporate talk. We just focus on making sure the orders are right and the trucks get loaded on time at the warehouse. The team is mostly local people who know their stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers. It’s a lot of back and forth. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult for shipping, but we manage. You’ll find us right in the heart of the city area. It’s a convenient spot for meetings, even if parking is a bit of a headache. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s been a long journey from where we started, but we’re still here doing the same basic things every day. Just spices and hard work, really. Nothing more to it than that.
