Ahara Hotel

We are located at 34/1517 on Market Road in Edapally. It’s a very busy part of Ernakulam. One of the easiest ways to find us is to look for Maj Hospital, as we are right near there. Because of the hospital, we get a lot of people who are visiting patients or working long shifts. They often look pretty tired, so we try to keep the place quiet for them. Market Road itself is always full of trucks and people carrying things. There is a lot of trading going on all around us. The building we are in is quite old and has that typical market feel. It’s not a place for a fancy night out; it’s more of a practical spot for a meal. We have some fans going to keep the air moving because it gets very hot in this part of Kerala. The floor is tiled and easy to wash down at the end of the day. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media page. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes in. Sometimes we run out of things if the market was particularly busy that day. That’s just the way it goes here. It’s a bit messy outside with the construction and the traffic, but inside we just try to keep things moving steadily. We’ve been a part of this street for years and plan to stay here for a while yet.
