Being in an urban spot like Jayadev Vihar is a bit different from being out on a farm, but we’re still very much connected to the biological side of things. We focus on biosciences, which means a lot of time spent looking at data and working in our lab space. It’s not the most exciting thing to talk about at a dinner party, but it’s important work. We started this company because we wanted to explore how science could help with real-world problems. We aren’t some massive corporation with hundreds of employees; we’re a smaller team that likes to get our hands dirty with the details. The second floor gets a bit warm in the summer, but we have our routines. We’ve been here for a while now, and we’ve gotten to know the other businesses in the lane. We don't put on any acts or try to sound more important than we are. We just show up, do the research, and try to make some progress in our field. It’s a lot of trial and error, like any science, but we keep at it because we find it interesting. Our door is usually open if someone from the area wants to stop by.
