Sustainable Agro India Farming Private Limited is located at Plot No- K-7, 530, in the Ghatikia area of Khandagiri. It’s a busy part of the city, but we’ve managed to find a good spot for our operations. We aren’t a very large team, just a handful of people who are really into the farming side of things. Most of our days are spent coordinating between the fields and the buyers. The office in Ghatikia is where we keep all the records and hold our small meetings. It’s a simple room with a couple of fans that stay on all day long. We have some shelves filled with books on agriculture and old ledgers from years ago. It’s not a polished corporate environment; you’ll often see mud on the floor from someone coming in straight from the land. We like it that way because it shows we are actually out there doing the work. Khandagiri is a familiar place for us, and we know most of the people around here. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the stall down the street while we discuss the planting cycles. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a bunch of people trying to make a living and keep the farming business sustainable. It gets a bit hectic when the season changes, but we just take it one day at a time. We also spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers to make sure we have what we need.
