You can find Sidhagorekha Farmers Producer Company Limited over at Samanga. We’re located via Raghunathpur, at Satyananda Rout’s place. It’s a local operation, through and through. All of us involved are from the surrounding villages. We’ve been farming these plots for years, and eventually, it just made sense to organize ourselves a bit better. Satyananda’s place is where we gather to talk and plan. It’s not a fancy corporate office. It’s more like a spot where you can come and get a glass of water and talk about how the crops are coming along. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone like that. We just do the work and hope the weather stays fair. Most of the time, you’ll find us out in the dirt rather than behind a desk. We’ve got rice, some vegetables, and whatever else the season allows. Dealing with the paperwork is the hardest part for most of us, but we manage. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just farmers who realized that we have more of a voice if we stand together. Samanga is a quiet place, and we like it that way. We know the people here and they know us. There’s no need for big speeches or polished brochures. We just do our best with what we’ve got and help our neighbors when they need it most.
