About Resham Science College – Education in Khordha
If you’re driving down NH 5 in Palasuni, you’ll see us near the Saptasati Temple. Resham Science College is a local spot for students around here. It’s not a huge campus with sprawling lawns. It’s more of a practical building where people come to learn. We have classrooms that get quite warm in the afternoons. The fans hum all day long. Students are always hanging out near the entrance or walking over from the temple area. We’ve got the usual stuff you’d expect—benches, chalkboards, and some lab equipment that’s seen better days but still works fine. It’s a simple place. We don’t do big advertising campaigns. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or friends. The staff room is usually a mess of textbooks and tea cups. We spend a lot of time just organizing schedules and making sure there’s enough chalk. Being right on the highway means it can get a bit loud with the trucks going by, but you get used to it. The Saptasati Temple is right there, so we often hear the bells ringing during the morning and evening. It’s a nice background sound for the college. The labs have a very distinct smell of chemicals and old wood. We try to keep the place organized, but with so many students, things get misplaced sometimes. We aren't a corporate institution; we're just a local college trying to do right by the kids. We show up every day.
