We are a small team working out of this spot, trying to do something a bit different with the food we grow around here. It is not just about harvesting; we are looking at how to package things and keep them fresh longer. The building is a bit tucked away on Khata No. 270/2146, but we stay busy regardless. We have some basic equipment that hums along most of the day, and there is usually a stack of crates waiting by the door. It is a bit dusty and loud sometimes, but that is just how a workshop feels. We are not a giant factory with hundreds of workers. It’s just a handful of us making sure the quality is decent before anything goes out. Sometimes we run into problems with the machines or the power goes out, which is pretty normal for this area. We just deal with it and get back to work. We talk a lot about how to make the local produce last until it gets to the bigger markets. It is a practical kind of business. No one wears a suit here; we are all in our regular clothes getting our hands dirty. It feels good to be doing something useful in our own neighborhood. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy.
