Kathojodi Farmer Producer Company Limited is based out of Plot No 291 in Kalapada. You can find us by looking for Dinabandhu Pati’s place. We are right there in Kalapada, and if you are coming from the main road, you go via Bentkar. It is a local operation through and through. We are just a bunch of farmers who thought it would be smarter to organize ourselves. It gets pretty busy around here when the season is right. Kalapada is a good place to be, and the people are hard-working. We don’t have any polished marketing or anything like that. We just have our land and our tools. The office is just a place to keep the records straight. Most of the time, we are out somewhere else, usually where the dirt is. Dinabandhu helps keep things running at the site. It is a practical way to manage what we grow. We see each other at the markets and in the fields every day. Bentkar is the route most people take to get here. We are just trying to get a fair shake for what we produce. It is not always easy, and there are plenty of long days. But that is just how farming goes in this part of the country.
