K B Academy

K B Academy is tucked away in Abakash Lane in Puri. It is quite close to the Mangala Mandap, which is a place most locals know for weddings and gatherings. The lane is a bit quieter than the main roads, which I like because it makes it easier for the kids to focus on their work without too many distractions. We’ve been at this location for some time now. The building is a simple one, painted a light color that’s starting to fade a bit under the sun. Inside, we’ve got several rooms set up for the different classes. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy furniture, just the standard stuff that you find in any local school around here. I usually arrive around eight to open the shutters and sweep the floor. Sometimes you can hear the bells from the nearby temples or the music from a function at the Mandap. It’s a very traditional part of Puri. The neighbors are friendly, and we all know each other. If you are walking down the lane, you’ll see our small sign by the door. It isn't a flashy place, but it's where we spend our days helping the local kids with their studies. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people seeing us here in the neighborhood. It’s a humble spot that does its job day in and day out, and we like the quiet of the lane.
