If you head down Habeli Lane in Puri, you will find us right at the back side of Biswmber Bidya Pitha. It’s a quiet little spot compared to the main roads near the temple. Being tucked away behind the school makes it a bit easier for the students to focus. The building is an older one, so it has that specific smell of old bricks and paper. We have a few rooms set up for different subjects. It’s not a high-tech facility by any means. We have fans that creak a little when they are on high speed, and the wooden chairs are a bit stiff. But the students don't seem to mind much. We spend our days going through math problems and grammar rules. Sometimes we sit out in the small courtyard when the weather is cool. It feels more like a home than a school sometimes. The locals around Habeli Lane know us well. We’ve seen many kids grow up and move on from here. We don’t have any big marketing plans; word just spreads from one family to another. It’s a steady kind of life. We make sure the water filter is filled and the lights are working before the first student arrives. We just aim to be a helpful part of the neighborhood, providing a place where kids can come and learn their lessons in a simple, honest environment. It’s just us doing what we can with the space we have and the time we spend together.
