We are Jn Chowdhury Manufacturing Tea Private Limited and we are set up in Bhubaneswar. Specifically, you can find us at HIG 99 in Kanan Vihar Phase II. It’s in the Chandrasekharpur area of Khordha. Starting a tea business in the city is a bit different from being out in the fields, but we make it work. We handle the manufacturing side of things. It’s a lot of work getting the leaves processed right and making sure the quality is okay for people to drink. Our place in Kanan Vihar is where everything happens. It’s not a giant factory, just a focused operation where we keep an eye on everything. We spend a lot of our time checking the machines and talking to suppliers. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the whole day fixing them. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small company. We aren't some big brand you see on TV all the time. We are just local people in Orissa who like good tea. We’ve been in the Chandrasekharpur area for a while now and we know the neighborhood well. It gets pretty hot in the summer here, which makes the work even harder. We just keep the tea moving and try to do a decent job every day. There’s always someone at the office if you want to talk about tea.
