Bhitara Farmer Producer Company Limited

Bhitara Farmer Producer Company Limited is a local group we put together to help out the farmers in our village. We are located at House Number 1 in the Dwivedi area of Bhitara. Brajesh Kumar is the one who handles the main tasks and keeps the paperwork in order for us. It is a small place, mostly just a room where we can sit down and talk about the crops and the market prices. Most of the people involved are neighbors who have known each other for years. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation or anything like that. We just want to make sure the folks here get a fair shake when they sell what they grow. It gets pretty loud and crowded in the office when everyone comes in at once to talk about the seeds or the rain. We handle a lot of the logistical stuff that individual farmers find hard to do on their own. Sometimes we run out of tea when the meetings go long, but nobody seems to mind much. We just take things one day at a time and try to solve problems as they come up. Being in a place like Bhitara, you learn to rely on your neighbors. That is really the whole point of this company. We are just a bunch of locals working together at Brajesh's place to keep things moving for the community and hoping for a good season every year.
