Started out at Plot No. 1904 in the Gidc Estate quite a while back. Indian Rivets is just a bunch of us working with metal every day. It's noisy in the shop, but that’s how it goes when you’re making fasteners all day long. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Most of the time, you'll find us on the floor checking the machines or moving crates around. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes in and we have to stay late to get things sorted. People around here know where to find us if they need something specific for their builds. We’ve seen the estate change over the years, more buildings going up, more traffic on the roads, but we just keep doing what we do. It’s a straightforward job. We make the rivets, pack them up, and send them out. Nothing too complicated about it. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend the morning fixing a gear, which is frustrating but part of the routine. If you walk by Plot 1904, you’ll probably hear the hammers or the clinking of metal. We don't spend much time on the computer or writing long emails. We’d rather just talk to people face to face or get the work finished. It’s just how we run things here. Not much else to say really, we just keep the machines running and the floor clean enough to work.
