Swaraj Creation

Swaraj Creation is located at No. 7 in the N.M.S Complex on C.A.K Road. It’s a busy little spot. Our shop is just one of many in the complex. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. We do a lot of different things here, mostly related to making and selling clothes. It’s a small space, so we have to be careful with how we stack the boxes. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. People just come in and talk to us directly. We’ve been here long enough that most of the other shop owners know our names. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have enough lamps to see what we’re doing. We spend our time cutting fabric and checking orders. It’s not a glamorous job. We get dust on our clothes and ink on our hands sometimes. We aren't interested in being a big name. We just want to do enough work to keep things going. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the door, so we put a bucket there. That’s just part of being in an older building like this. We like the location because it’s close to everything we need. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs to be done every day.
