Shuruthi Garments

Our place, Shuruthi Garments, is situated at 547/2, Sakthi Nagar, right on the 4th Cross in Vadivelnagar. It is one of those neighborhoods where you can always hear something going on, whether it is a scooter passing by or someone shouting down the street. We have been operating out of this building for a good number of years. The ground floor is usually where most of the activity happens, with people moving boxes around and checking the fabric. It gets quite cramped when a new shipment comes in, and we often have to shuffle things around just to find a place to sit and have tea. The lighting inside isn't the best, but we have some extra lamps set up over the work areas where the detail matters. People around Sakthi Nagar know us as the place that’s always got the lights on late into the evening. We don’t have a big fancy sign or anything like that, just the address on the wall and the sound of work coming from inside. The 4th Cross is a bit narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone visiting, but we make do with what we have. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour, and we all just sit outside on the steps and wait for it to come back. It is just the way things go here in Vadivelnagar. We keep the machines running and try to stay on top of the orders without making too much of a fuss.
