Q. Trends

We’re set up over at No. 4 on the Fourth Cross in Ramakrishnapuram. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads, but we stay pretty busy most of the time. We focus on whatever the current trends are, but we don't try to be too high-end or anything like that. Our shop is just a place where you can find something nice to wear without making a big deal out of it. We started out with just a few racks and a lot of hope, and we’ve managed to grow a bit since then. The neighborhood knows us well, and we often see the same neighbors stopping by just to say hello even if they aren't buying anything that day. We handle the daily operations ourselves, from opening the shutters in the morning to sweeping up at night. There isn't much corporate structure here, just a few of us making sure the clothes are hung up and the prices are fair. Sometimes we forget to update the window display for a week or two, but people don't seem to mind much. We like the pace of life here in Ramakrishnapuram. It feels like a real community where people look out for each other. If you're looking for us, look for the sign on the Fourth Cross. We’re usually there six days a week, unless something comes up that needs our attention at home or with the family.
