Our place is at No. 33 on Anna Nagar Water Tank Road. It is a well-known landmark in Renganayagipuram, so people usually find us without too much trouble. Karur Fashionss Pvt. Ltd. is basically a big open space where we do a lot of the cutting and stitching. It gets quite hot in Karur, especially in the afternoons, so we have these big industrial fans that move the air around. They are quite loud, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big corporate office. It is more of a workshop feel here. There are stacks of fabric in different colors piled up against the walls. We have a few wooden tables that are scarred from years of use. Usually, there is a radio playing somewhere in the background, mostly local stations. The staff mostly comes from the nearby areas, so everyone knows everyone. We take a long break in the middle of the day when the sun is at its worst. It is a straightforward operation. We don't have a reception desk or a waiting room. If someone comes by, they just walk in and talk to whoever is nearest the door. It is a bit dusty because of the fabric lint, but we try to sweep it out every evening before we lock up. It is just honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
