Bharat Travels India is situated on the first floor of the Ghogal Building. We are right on the G.T. Road in Phagwara, very near to where Lovely Auto is. To get to us, you just have to come up the main staircase. Our office windows look right out onto the highway, so we get a front-row seat to all the traffic moving through the city. It’s a very busy area, but being on the first floor keeps us a little bit removed from the dust of the road. We have a pretty straightforward setup inside. There are desks for us and some seating for anyone who stops by. We’ve been in this building for many years now and have seen Phagwara change quite a bit from our window. Our daily work involves a lot of travel planning and booking tickets. It’s not a fancy operation with high-tech gadgets; we just use our computers and talk to people about what they need. Some days are busier than others, especially when there’s a holiday coming up. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and help people get to where they are going. It’s a practical business and we like it that way. Most of our customers are locals who have been using us for a long time.
