T R B Hollow Bricks

T R B Hollow Bricks is located at number 32 in Kallkkulam. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the bigger cities nearby, and that’s how we like it. We’ve been making these bricks for a while now. The process is a bit different from the solid ones, but it’s still plenty of hard work. Our yard isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack things to make sure we have room to move around. Most of the time, you can find us out there in the yard, even when the sun is really hot. We wear old clothes that are constantly covered in grey dust. It’s not the kind of job where you stay clean for long. We don’t have a website or any of those modern things; we just answer the phone when it rings and talk to whoever shows up at the gate. Sometimes the machinery acts up and we have to spend the whole afternoon fixing a belt or a motor. It can be frustrating, but that’s part of owning a small business. We know the people around Kallkkulam and they know us. We aren't looking to expand into some giant company. We just want to keep making our bricks and providing for our families. It’s a simple goal, and it keeps us going every day. Some days are better than others, but we keep showing up.
