Muthu Hollow Bricks

Muthu Hollow Bricks is situated at No 32 on the Maruthamalai Main Road in Vadavalli. It is a spot that gets a lot of traffic passing by. We have been making hollow bricks here for quite some time. The yard is filled with various sizes of bricks stacked up ready to go. You can see them from the street if you are driving toward the hills. We keep things pretty basic. There is the mixing area, the molds, and the drying space. It is mostly outdoor work, so we are at the mercy of the weather. Rain can slow us down, but usually, the sun here is good for drying out the cement. The staff is small, just a few guys who know how to handle the machinery and the heavy lifting. We don’t have a showroom or anything. If you want to see what we have, you just walk into the yard and look at the stacks. We help load up the trucks when customers come by. Vadavalli is a growing area, so there is always someone building something nearby. We like being on the main road because it makes deliveries easier. We don't spend much time in the office. Most of the work happens outside in the dirt and the sun. It’s a straightforward business. We make the bricks, we sell them, and we start again the next day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just focus on making blocks that stay together in one piece.
