Tak Equestrian

We have been running things here at Beconganj for quite a while now. Our shop is at 98/157, right near the Pared Chauraha, which stays pretty busy most of the day. If you walk inside, you will notice the smell of leather and oil right away. We spend our time working on equestrian gear. It is mostly saddles, bridles, and all the small leather bits that horses need. It’s not a fancy place with a lobby or anything. It is just a workshop with benches and tools scattered around. My family has been doing this kind of work for a long time, and I just took over. We don't really do advertisements or have a big sales team. Most people find us because they know someone who bought a saddle here years ago. The leather comes in big pieces and we spend the day cutting and stitching it by hand. Sometimes my hands get sore from the heavy needles, but that is just part of the job. We try to make things that will actually hold up when someone is out riding. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do right by the people who come into the shop. The noise from the street is constant, but you stop hearing it after an hour of work. It’s a simple life here near the Chauraha, just working with leather and making gear that works like it should.
