Our place is tucked away at Plot No. 93/155 in Anwar Ganj. If you know Choori Wali Gali, you know it can be a bit tight getting through there, especially with deliveries. We're right near Mulganj Cricel, which is always humming with people and noise from the traffic. Northern India Fishing Material Co. has been operating out of this spot for a good while now. It smells like nets and industrial materials most days, which you get used to pretty fast once you start. We spend a lot of time sorting through twine and different types of gear that people need. It’s not the quietest part of town, but it has a lot of life and character. The shop floor is usually covered in something we’re working on or packing up. We don't bother with a lot of decorations or fancy paint. The walls are mostly covered in shelves and hooks to hold everything. People come in looking for specific stuff for their trips or their small shops. We just find what they need and get them on their way. It’s practical work. Sometimes the weather makes the narrow street outside a bit difficult to navigate, but we stay open regardless. Just a small group of us here, making sure the orders are ready on time. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy rolls and checking lines. We like the rhythm of it. It’s a solid way to spend the day in Anwar Ganj.
