You can find us at 25, Azad Nagar. It’s a small place where we handle our sandalwood work. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the smell; it’s very strong and it stays with you for hours. We don't have a big factory floor or automated machines. Most of what we do is done by hand, using old methods that have been around for a long time. We spend our days sorting through the wood and processing the oil in small batches. It’s a slow process, and you can’t really rush it if you want it to turn out right. There are only a few of us here, and we all know each other well. We don’t have a front office or any sales staff in suits. If you come by, you’ll likely see us working in our shirtsleeves, surrounded by logs and shavings. Azad Nagar is a busy area, but once you step inside our gate, things feel a bit slower. We don't do any advertising or big promotions. Most people find us because they know the address or they’ve heard about us from someone else. We just focus on the quality of the wood and making sure we don’t waste anything. It’s a humble business, and we like it that way. We just want to keep the tradition going and make enough to keep the doors open at number 25.
