We are based out of a house in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, 208012. It’s not your typical glass building office you see in the big cities. We started this software thing from home because it was easier and cheaper. We spend a lot of time staring at screens and typing away. Sometimes the internet goes slow, and we all just take a break and talk. It’s a small operation here in Kanpur. We handle different types of coding and fixing bugs for people who need help with their systems. It’s mostly just us and our laptops. The room gets pretty warm in the summer, even with the fans going full blast. We’ve got wires running across the floor, which is a bit of a tripping hazard, but we know where everything is. We don't have a formal dress code or anything. Most days we’re just in t-shirts. We get our work done, even if we don't look like those fancy tech guys from Bangalore. People in the neighborhood know we’re the ones who do the computer stuff. We’ve been at this for a while now and have seen things change a lot in the tech world. We just keep up as much as we can. It’s quiet work, mostly, except for when we’re arguing about a piece of code that won't work right. That’s just life in a small software setup like ours.
