You can find us over at E-103 in the Visitor Hostel Extension at IIT Kanpur. It is a bit of a specific spot to find if you are not familiar with the campus layout, but we have been here handling various tech things for a bit. Being inside the institute means we see a lot of students and staff coming through the door. The room is not huge, but it fits what we need. Most of our time is spent on software stuff or helping people figure out why their systems are not behaving. There are always papers on the desk and maybe a half-finished cup of tea sitting somewhere. We do not do much advertising because the folks around the hostel extension usually just hear about us from someone else. It gets quiet during the holidays when the campus clears out, but otherwise, it is pretty steady. We deal with various technical solutions, mostly just sitting at our desks and typing away or troubleshooting errors that pop up. It is a practical setup for us. No big corporate meetings here, just us trying to get the job done and resolve the issues. Sometimes the internet is great, and sometimes it is a bit of a struggle, but we manage to get through the list of tasks. If you are walking past the visitor hostel area, you will see where we are located. It is a decent place to work and the environment is mostly academic and focused.
