New Jai Marbles

You can find New Jai Marbles over at Plot No. 133/20 in the O-Block of Kidwai Nagar. It’s a bit of a trek if you aren't familiar with how the blocks are laid out here, but we are easy to spot once you get close because of all the stone slabs leaning against the walls. We spend most of our day out in the yard or in the small office area near the front gate. Selling marble is heavy work and there isn't much time for sitting around. There is always the sound of things being moved or the water being used to clean the dust off the pieces so people can see the patterns. It gets very cold in the winter because the warehouse is mostly open to the air, and in the summer, the sun really hits the stone. We started this place to provide marble to the people around here who are building houses or fixing up their floors. We don't have a showroom with bright lights and fancy music. It’s just a yard with a lot of heavy stock and some basic tools. Most of the staff have been here for years and they know exactly where every piece is kept. We talk to contractors and homeowners all day long. Sometimes it’s a bit messy with all the stone dust, and our shoes are always white by the end of the shift. We just try to keep things simple and make sure the orders are ready on time.
