Jai Jagdambe Stone Industries

We started Jai Jagdambe Stone Industries at Plot No 7/180 in Swaroop Nagar. It is a decent-sized plot where we handle all our stone work. Swaroop Nagar is a good location for us. We have been here long enough that most of the locals know where we are. The business is all about stone—cutting it, shaping it, and moving it. It is not an easy job and it definitely is not a clean one. We have a few simple machines and a lot of hand tools that we use every day. The yard is usually full of slabs and blocks waiting to be worked on. We do not have any high-tech systems; we mostly rely on our own experience and eyes to get the jobs done right. The office is just a small room at the front of the plot where we handle the bills and talk to folks who stop by. We do not have a big sales team. If someone needs stone, they just come over and look at what we have in the yard. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we try to keep things moving as much as we can. Swaroop Nagar has grown around us, but we still keep to our same routine. It is just a basic local industry. We don't use fancy brochures or anything. People see the stone and they know if it is what they need. We just try to be fair and keep the quality decent.
