Maria Exports

We are located at 19, Jajmau Road, which is a very busy part of the city. Maria Exports has been operating out of this building for quite a while. Jajmau is famous for its leather, so we are right where we need to be. The road outside is usually full of trucks and heavy vehicles, so it can get pretty loud and dusty throughout the day. Our place isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. It’s just a plain front with a heavy door. Inside, we have a large area for sorting through the goods we send out. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of everything before it gets packed into crates. It is mostly a lot of manual labor and standing on your feet. We have a small office area tucked in the back where we handle the export papers and talk to the shipping agents. It gets quite hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and drink a lot of cold water. There is no corporate dress code here; we just wear what is comfortable for moving boxes around. We are a small group and we do most of the work ourselves. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it is here. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure they leave Jajmau on time. It is a simple, hardworking life.
