L. N. Milk Dairy & Chilling Plant

L. N. Milk Dairy & Chilling Plant is located in Navodaya Nagar, which is part of the Sarsaul area in Gramin Estate. We are quite easy to find because we are near the Shree Radhe Krishna Munni Devi Collage. The day starts very early for us, often while it is still dark outside. You can hear the hum of the chilling machines running throughout the night to keep everything at the right temperature. When the sun starts to come up, the milk vans begin to arrive and the whole place gets very busy. There is the sound of metal cans clanking together and the shouting of directions as we get everything unloaded. Being so close to the college means we see a lot of young people walking by on their way to classes. Sometimes they stop for a bit of shade or just to see what is happening. The air around here always has that particular scent of a dairy. It’s a mix of fresh milk and the dampness of the cleaning water. My boots are usually wet by ten in the morning from washing down the floors. We don't have any big corporate mission or anything like that. We just focus on getting the milk processed and ready to go out to the people who need it. It is a simple, hardworking life in Navodaya Nagar. We’ve been here for a good while.
