Sant Market is always crowded and noisy, especially around Plot No. 76/562. That is where Bazi Lal Laxmi Shankar & Sons is located, right in the middle of Coolie Bazar. The shop is full of stuff piled up high, and sometimes it is hard to find a place to stand. It has been a family thing for a long time, passed down through the sons as the name says. We open early in the morning when the trucks start arriving and the loaders are busy everywhere. Coolie Bazar has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. There is usually a lot of shouting and tea drinking going on while we sort out orders. We don't use any fancy computers for everything; mostly it is old notebooks and pens. The walls are a bit stained and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it works for us. People come in looking for specific things, and we do what we can to help them out from the stock we have. It is a bit chaotic, but that is how business is done in a place like this. Bazi Lal Laxmi Shankar & Sons has seen a lot of changes in the market over the years. We stay because this is where our roots are. It is not a shiny showroom, just a busy market shop where we work hard and try to keep the customers happy so they come back to see us next time they need something.
