We are based in Shop Number 77 at 8 Coolie Bazar, over in Mulganj. We’re right near Khoya Bazar, so it’s always incredibly busy around here. There are people and carts moving back and forth all day long. We do industrial work, which means there’s often the sound of machines running in our shop. It can be quite loud, and the air usually smells a bit like metal and oil. We’ve been in this spot for a long time, and we’re used to the hustle of the market. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk right into the work area. We make different parts and items, depending on what's needed. It's a lot of heavy lifting and standing on our feet for hours. We have a small group of workers who know the machines inside and out. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend half the day fixing them ourselves. That’s just the nature of the industry. We get our supplies from other shops nearby, so we’re part of the local network here. It’s a gritty, hard-working environment, and we wouldn't have it any other way. People know they can find us here six days a week, doing our thing and keeping the machines turning. It’s the kind of work that keeps the city moving, even if it’s a bit noisy and dusty for some.
