India Ethnica

We are based at I-2/39 in Keshav Puram, which is part of the Awas Vikas area in Kalyanpur. India Ethnica is a small operation, and we mostly work out of this one large room that serves as both an office and a storehouse. We deal with various ethnic goods and traditional items that we get from different parts of the country. The shelves are always overflowing with boxes, fabrics, and handmade pieces. It is not a polished showroom by any means. It feels more like someone's personal workshop that got a bit out of hand. We spend a lot of our time checking the quality of the things that come in and then carefully wrapping them up to be sent out to customers. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the doors to let in some light and carry on with whatever we were doing. We don't have a big corporate structure or a bunch of managers. It is just a few of us who like these kinds of products. We handle the phone calls, the packing, and the cleaning ourselves. It is a quiet life for the most part, away from the main rush of the city. We have a few regular visitors from the neighborhood who stop by to see what new things we have found. We aren't looking to grow into a massive company. We just enjoy what we do and like the fact that we can work at our own pace.
