If you go to O Block in Geeta Nagar, specifically at No. 117/688, you’ll find Cgtech It Services. Kanpur is a busy place, and our little corner of it is no exception. There’s always noise from the street, people shouting, and bikes zooming past. Our office is on a street that gets quite narrow, so parking is always a bit of a puzzle. We spend most of our time inside, away from the heat, working on various IT tasks. The office is basically one big room with desks pushed against the walls to make space in the middle. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but we usually keep the blinds down because of the glare on our monitors. It’s not a fancy tech park; it’s just a local office where we try to keep things simple. We have a couple of fans that hum all day long. Sometimes the electricity cuts out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in Kanpur. We know most of the people who live in the block, and sometimes they drop in just to say hello or ask for a quick bit of advice on their computers. We don't have any marketing experts or anything like that. We just focus on the software and the hardware that needs fixing. It’s a bit messy with all the wires, but it’s our space and it works for us.
