Bluebell Fragrences

We have been running this little shop for a while now. It is located at 51/89 inside the Ganges Hotel building here in Nayaganj. If you walk into the hotel area, we are right at Shop No. 1. It is not a very big space but we fit everything we need inside the walls. Most days, the air around here smells like a mix of different oils and perfumes because that is what we do at Bluebell Fragrences. We spend a lot of our time opening boxes and checking the glass bottles we keep on the wooden shelves. Nayaganj is a busy part of town so there is always a lot of noise coming from the street outside. We are usually here from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes the light in the shop flickers a bit because the wiring is old, but we just get on with things. It’s a simple setup. My cousin helps me with the inventory when things get backed up. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People mostly just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in the neighborhood. We keep a ledger for all the sales and try to stay organized, even though the desk is usually covered in papers. It’s just how we work. We like being in this part of the city even if it gets crowded. The shop feels like a second home to us after all these years.
