Aadhya Decor

Aadhya Decor is based on Sanjay Van Road in the Keshav Nagar area of Kanpur. Our shop is right there on the road, so it gets quite a bit of dust from the passing vehicles. We deal with all sorts of things for the home, mostly focused on the stuff that goes on windows and walls. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with rolls of fabric and various hardware. It is a bit of a squeeze to move around when we have new stock coming in. We don't have any fancy displays or lighting like the big malls. We just use the natural light that comes through the front door to show people the colors. Keshav Nagar is a busy residential spot, so we get a lot of people stopping by while they are out doing their daily errands. Sometimes we are busy measuring out cloth, and other times we are just sitting on the stools waiting for the next person to walk in. The road outside can get quite chaotic during the peak hours, but inside it is mostly just us and the sound of the scissors. We have been here for a while and we know the quirks of the building, like which floorboard creaks and which window doesn't close right. It is a very basic, honest shop. We don't try to be something we are not. People come to us because we are right here in the neighborhood and we know our trade.
