A One Darbar.

A One Darbar is located at 108 Parade road in Kanpur. We are right in the middle of things here near the Parade area. If you know where Rakeshbiryani wala is, then finding us is easy because we are quite close to them. Parade is a busy place with lots of people moving around every day. We decided to set up here because it is a central spot and there is always something going on. The shop is simple and we don't have a lot of decorative stuff hanging around. We just focus on the food and making sure people have a place to sit. Sometimes the street gets blocked with carts and people but that is just Kanpur for you. We've been here for a bit and seen the area change but the crowd stays the same. Most of our regulars come from the nearby shops or people just passing through for work. It gets a bit noisy during the lunch hour but we try to manage. We aren't a big chain or anything, just a local spot. My brother and I look after the place most days. It’s a lot of standing and talking to customers but it keeps us busy. We don't use fancy menus or anything like that. Just come in, see what we have, and eat. It’s straightforward. We try to keep the place clean though it's hard with all the mud from the road outside during rain. We just keep going and doing our work.
