This company is run out of Pawan Kumar’s place in Jugrajpur. It’s part of the Sachendi or Chacheri area, depending on who you ask locally. We got into the agro industry because that’s what we know best and what our families have always done. Most of the people involved have grown up around these fields since they were kids. We aren't some big corporate entity with shiny offices in the city. We’re right here in the village where the actual work happens. It’s a bit dusty and the roads aren't always great for driving, but it’s our home. We handle a lot of different agricultural tasks. Sometimes it’s about processing the crops, other times it’s just moving stuff from one place to another. We started this because we wanted to have something of our own that we could control. Pawan Kumar keeps the records and makes sure the paperwork is mostly in order, which is a real chore sometimes. We don't have fancy brochures or a sales team. If you want to know what we do, you just come by and talk to us in person. We’ll probably be busy with something in the yard, but we always have time for a quick conversation about the business. It’s a lot of long hours and worrying about the rain or the heat. But that is just how it goes when you’re working with the land. We take things one day at a time and try to keep the wheels turning.
