Kisaansetu India Private Limited is situated at 290/8B, Narpat Nagar, in Jarauli Phase-1. If you know the Barra area in Kanpur, we are right behind the Saroj Education Center. It’s a busy neighborhood with a lot of noise from the school and the nearby shops. We chose the name Kisaansetu because we wanted to be a bridge for the farmers. But most days, we are just a bunch of people in a small office trying to manage the logistics of agriculture. It’s not a glamorous job. There is a lot of shouting on the phone and trying to track down where a shipment has gone. The office is tucked away in a residential street, so it’s fairly quiet except for when school lets out. We don’t have a professional cleaning crew or a fancy coffee machine. We make our own tea and sweep the floor ourselves. We work with farmers from all over, trying to connect them to better opportunities. It is a slow process and there are plenty of headaches along the way. We aren't experts with all the answers. We just try to solve one problem at a time and hope it helps someone out. It’s just us, doing our bit in a corner of Kanpur, hoping the crops stay healthy and the farmers stay happy. It’s a long road but we are walking it.
