We are Hariya Nature Farming Producer Company Limited and you can find us at Omnath Chaurasiyaharnoo’s place in Uttaripura, Bilhaur. Around here, a lot of us wanted to go back to how things used to be done with the soil. Modern ways have their problems and we felt like the old natural methods were better for the land in the long run. It’s a collective of farmers from the local area who are tired of spending all their money on chemical sprays. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. It’s mostly just neighbors talking over the fence or meeting up to share what we’ve learned about natural composting or pest control. Bilhaur is where we live and work every day. Being a producer company means we can buy things in bulk which saves us some money, which is always tight when you depend on the weather. We aren't trying to become some massive corporation with a fancy website. We just want to grow healthy food and keep our farms going for the kids. It’s hard work and the sun gets very hot in the afternoons, but doing it together makes it feel a bit lighter. Sometimes the paperwork gets confusing but Omnath helps keep things sorted in the registers. We just do our best with what we have and hope the rains come at the right time.
