O.A.S.S.Inter College English Medium

O.A.S.S.Inter College English Medium is out in the Bhaunti and Rania area of Kanpur. If you know the industrial stretches of the city, you know it can be a bit rugged around here. Our address is in Kanpur, 209304. We are an inter college, so we have the older kids as well as the younger ones. The building is a sturdy one, built to handle the Kanpur heat and the dust from the nearby roads. It’s not in the center of the main city, so it feels a bit more open, though the trucks from the Rania area pass by frequently. We have been operating here for quite some time now. The classrooms are basic but they serve the purpose. Most of our staff comes from the local housing areas. We don’t go for anything fancy; we just provide a place for students to come and learn their lessons. The yard gets some use during the breaks, though it can get quite dry in the summer months. We have the usual routine of morning prayers and then classes until the afternoon. It’s a practical place for families living on the outskirts of Kanpur. You won't find any high-tech glass walls here, just brick and mortar and people trying to do their best with what they have. Sometimes the power cuts make it tough, but we just open the windows and keep going.
