Kairali College

Kairali College is located right near the Manorama office on Tt Road in the Caltex area of Kannur. It’s a very central spot, so there is always a lot of movement outside with buses and people going about their business. The building itself is an older one, and it has that typical look of a town college in Kerala. We don't have a big sprawling campus with lots of grass; instead, we are part of the urban landscape. Students spend their time in the classrooms or hanging around the corridors during their breaks. When it rains, which happens a lot in Kannur, everyone huddles inside and the sound of the rain on the roof can be quite loud. We have a staff that has been here for years, and they know the local area inside out. The furniture is basic, mostly wooden desks and benches that have seen many years of use. It’s not the kind of place that tries to look like a five-star hotel. We focus on the lectures and the exams, and that’s about it. The office is usually busy with people asking about certificates or fees. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks to get people here. Most of our students come because they live nearby or their older siblings came here before them. It’s just a regular, functional place where the daily work of education gets done without any unnecessary drama or polish.
