Our office is situated over at O Khomei S Auto Parking in Yairipok Bishnunaha. We are based with Oinam Romesh Singh. Being near the auto parking means there’s always something happening outside. It can get a bit loud with the engines and people shouting, but it makes the day go by fast. We aren't a big, polished company with a lobby and a fountain. It’s just a couple of rooms where we keep our records and meet with the local producers. Most days, the place is a bit of a mess with seed bags or samples of grain lying around. We don’t mind it though. It shows we’re actually working. We spend most of our time talking to the farmers about what they need and how the market is looking. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We don’t use any promotional talk because everyone around here already knows what we do. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time. Sometimes the internet doesn't work well, so we have to do everything by hand in big ledgers. It’s old-fashioned but it works for us. We just want to help the guys in Yairipok get their stuff sold. It’s a practical business run by people who know what it’s like to work the fields. If you’re in the area, you’ll see us there or out on the farms.
