S H L Projects is based at 77 Ennaikaran, which is really close to the railway station. You can hear the trains pulling in and out all day long, which is something you just get used to after a week or two. Being near the station is actually quite handy for people coming to see us from other towns. Our office is a simple place where we keep all our project files and site plans. We are mostly out on sites, but this is where we meet to figure out the next steps. Ennaikaran is a familiar area for most locals, and we have been here for a bit. It’s not a corporate glass building or anything like that. It is just a regular building where we do our business. We deal with various projects and there is always a lot of talk about materials and timelines. Sometimes we sit around the big table and just go over the drawings for hours. The neighborhood is lively, especially with the commuters walking to the station. We like the energy of the place. There’s a small shop nearby where we get our coffee, and that’s where most of our breaks happen. It is just us trying to get things built and making sure the projects stay on track. If you are coming by train, it is just a short walk to find us at number 77. We usually have a lot of dust on our boots from the sites.
