G D Lifter

G D Lifter is based at 2/93, 1St Street in Ambedkar Nagar. We are very close to Geetha Sweets, which is a good landmark if you are trying to find us. This is a family-run thing. My uncle started it years ago, and now we just keep the machines running. We have a few lifters and heavy equipment parked in the yard. It’s a lot of hard work keeping everything greased and ready for the next job. The 63 Nantham Pakkam area has grown a lot, so we stay pretty busy with local building projects. We don't have a big office staff or anyone to answer the phones 24/7. Most of the time, we are out on a site somewhere, getting our hands dirty. The equipment is old but we take care of it. Sometimes a part breaks and we have to wait a week for a replacement, which is frustrating for everyone. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just tell you what the machine can do and what it can't. The tea stall around the corner is where we spend our breaks. It’s an honest living and we like being part of this neighborhood. Sometimes the traffic on 1st Street makes it hard to move the big rigs, but we manage. We aren't looking to be the biggest company in the city. Just want to do the work and go home to our families.
