Our place, Future Automation Technologies Pvt Ltd, is over at 66 Panchayath Road in Perungudi. It’s a bit of an industrial-feeling area but that suits what we do. We work with machines and parts mostly. The building isn't new, but it works for us. Inside, you'll see a lot of wires and tools lying around on the benches. We spend our time putting things together or fixing things that aren't running right. Perungudi is a busy part of the city, so there’s always something going on outside on Panchayath Road. We don't really have a front desk person or a waiting room. Usually, if someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see who it is. We’ve been here at number 66 for a while. The lighting in the back could be better, but it gets the job done. We mostly deal with other businesses that need automation help. It’s not the kind of work that looks pretty, but it’s important. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It keeps things from being too quiet. Some days are longer than others depending on the projects we have. We just try to get the machines ready and out the door on time. We don't do much in terms of advertising, word of mouth is usually how people find us in the neighborhood. It’s a steady pace for us.
