Lamba School Mart

We opened this shop here in Sonai Gali Dakshin Gaon a while back because there weren't many places for parents to pick up everything for their kids in one go. Lokhra is a busy part of Guwahati and people are always on the move. We keep the shelves stocked with notebooks, pens, and those heavy school bags that kids seem to wear out every year. The shop isn't fancy or anything. It’s just a regular place where you can find what you need for the school term. Sometimes the store gets crowded in the mornings or right after the schools let out. We try to keep things organized but sometimes boxes pile up in the corners when new stock comes in from the suppliers. You might see us drinking tea outside when it’s quiet. We know most of the people around here by face now. It’s nice seeing the same kids grow up and move into higher grades, coming back for bigger uniforms or different types of pens. The address is pretty easy to find if you know the Lokhra area well enough. We don't have a big sign but the locals know where we are. It stays dusty because of the road, but that's just how it is around here. We just focus on getting the right books in for the local curriculum and making sure the prices are fair for the neighbors.
