Our operation is based at Mohkhuti in Diphu, which is part of the Karbi Anglong district in Assam. Gerald Minz is the one who helps keep the place running. We are a small private company focused on farming and some basic processing of what we grow. It’s mostly a one-person-led thing with some local help. We aren't some massive factory. It’s more of a home-grown setup. We spend our days out in the dirt or checking on the plants. In Karbi Anglong, the hills make everything a bit more difficult, but the soil is decent if you treat it right. We try to keep things moving along despite the challenges. Sometimes the equipment breaks down or the workers can't make it, and we just have to figure it out as we go. We don't have a big corporate manual. If something needs doing, we just do it. Our goal is just to keep the farm productive and maybe process some of the crops to add a little value. It’s a lot of trial and error. We've had good years and bad ones too. That’s just the nature of the business. We don't promise anything except that we work hard and we’re honest about what we produce. If you visit us in Diphu, you’ll find a working farm, not a fancy showroom. It’s just us doing our best with what we have. It is not always easy but it is what we know how to do best.
