Petsangam village is where you will find us, right in the Gandhari Mandal area of Kamareddy. Our office is at house number 1-55. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here if you are coming from the main city, but this is where the real work happens. We focus on the local farmers here in Petsangam. The building we use is quite old and has thick walls that keep it a bit cooler in the summer. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a few ceiling fans that click while they spin. The day starts early because that’s when the farmers are active. We deal with everything from seed distribution to helping people figure out how to sell their crops. It’s a lot of face-to-face talk. You won't find us sending many emails; it's mostly just sitting down with a cup of tea and discussing the season. Kamareddy is a good place to be, but it can be tough when the rains are late. We’ve all seen good years and bad years here. Our producer company is just a way for us to stick together. It’s not a polished business with a lobby or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably just find one of us sitting at a wooden desk writing things down in a big ledger.
