Sayeeagro Farmer Producer Company Limited

This company is located at Subhash Munjaji Bharkad’s place, number 55, in Mendhala Bk, which is over in Ardhapur. We call it Sayeeagro Farmer Producer Company Limited. It started because a few of us were tired of trying to manage everything on our own. When you’re just one farmer, the market doesn't really listen to you. We figured that if we pooled our crops together, we’d have a better shot at a fair price. We aren't some big corporation from the city. We are just neighbors who work the fields every day. Our office is basically just a room where we keep our files and meet to talk. It’s usually pretty busy, with people coming in to check on their accounts or talk about the latest rain. It’s not a very polished operation, and there’s usually a bit of mud on the floor. We don’t use fancy language or try to sound like we’re experts at everything. We just know farming. We spend our days worrying about the crops and our nights trying to get the paperwork right. It’s a lot of back and forth, and it can be frustrating when the prices drop for no reason. We just try to stick together and help each other out with the moving and selling. It’s a practical way to survive in this business. We don't have big goals of being famous, we just want to keep the farms running and look after our own community here in Ardhapur.
