You can find Neelnama Farmer Producer Company at House Number 2-909. We’re in the Raghoji Layout, specifically in Om Nagar on Sedam Road. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know the area. We’re just a small group of farmers from around Sedam. We decided to get organized because doing everything alone was getting too hard. The office is basically just a front room in a house. We have some chairs and a table where we keep the registers. We don't have fancy computers or anything. Most of our records are in big notebooks. We talk about what seeds we need and how the weather is looking for the next month. It’s not a corporate environment at all. Someone’s kids might be running around while we’re trying to count the share money. We don't have any big slogans. We’re just trying to help each other get the crops sold. Sometimes we have to travel quite a bit to see the members who live further out. It’s a lot of motorbikes and dusty roads. We don't always get everything right on the first try, but we’re a stubborn bunch. We just want to make sure the people who do the actual work in the sun get a fair shake at the end of the day. That’s why we’re here in this little office on Sedam Road. We just take it one day at a time and see what happens.
